Indigenous Rugby

The Australian Rugby Union supports initiatives to increase the exposure of Rugby to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Indigenous Rugby Programs are a joint initiative of the indigenous Sports Program, the ARU, the Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development Team Inc, and our four Member Unions (QRU, NSWRU, NTRU, Brumbies)

Schools Rugby

Regular schools Rugby competition is played by over 43,000 students throughout Australia. Another 36,000 students participate in non-regular schools Rugby competitions. There is also the opportunity to represent Australia at the School Boy level.

Universities Rugby & Services Rugby

Universities Rugby deals with Rugby played between and within universities abd tertiary institutions around Australia.

Services Rugby is the Defence Force Rugby between and within the Army, Navy and Air Forces.
