Promoting Values in Sport Forums
“The forum is a fantastic opportunity to speak to students about the journey we’ve had from playing Rugby at school to representing Australia, including the highs and the lows, and the values learnt on and off the field along the way.”
Nathan Sharpe, Qantas Wallaby
“The Wallabies are role models to so many young people. The forums will strike a chord with all students, whether they play Rugby or not. To hear the players talk about the importance of goal-setting, respect for others and doing your best reinforces to students that they will get out of life what they put into it.”
Jonathan Hensman, Headmaster of Anglican Church Grammar School
The Promoting Values in Sport Forum is one of several EdRugby programs that aim to encourage students to think about the importance of values in sport and life. It will provide a rare opportunity for students and teachers to hear from high profile Rugby players about the values underpinning their lives and the team including pride, heritage sportsmanship, respect, honour and standards.
The Promoting Values in Sport Forum will feature:
- A facilitated discussion with two high profile Rugby players
- Big-screen footage showcasing the players in action along with other multi-media
- An opportunity for questions from the audience
- Free giveaways and light refreshments
Schools are invited to bring up to 22 students and 2 teachers to the Forum. To register your school click the relevant link below;
