About the Bundaberg Rum Rugby Series
The Bundaberg Rum Rugby Series is the premier national competition played in Australia each year between the Qantas Wallabies and senior national representative teams from other countries. Matches are also played between Australian State Representative sides (including the Brumbies, the NSW Waratahs, the QLD Reds and for the first time in 2006, the Western Force from WA) or Australian Senior National Representative sides (including Australia A) and the inbound touring teams.
The
Tri Nations tournament and
Bledisloe Cup are also part of the Bundaberg Rum Rugby Series and involve matches between the Wallabies against their southern rivals New Zealand and South Africa.
