Your Man of the Match against Scotland: Peter Hynes

There were few bright spots in the Qantas Wallabies loss to Scotland but one man who never stopped trying was Reds winger Peter Hynes who was voted Your Man of the Match for the Men of Gold in Edinburgh.

Hynes collected an impressive 57.0% of the 2256 votes we received for his non-stop effort.

It was the blonde-haired wingers first Your Man of the Match Award since picking up two in the first two Tests of his career against Ireland and France in June last year.

In second place was Brumbies prop Ben Alexander (18.3%) who also gave one hundred percent for 80 minutes and was given added pressure when he became the senior prop after Benn Robinson left the field early on.

In third was the Wallabies captain Rocky Elsom (15.9%) who put in his usual colossal performance followed by the Wallabies lone tryscorer, Ryan Cross (4.7%) and scrumhalf Will Genia (4.1%) rounding out our Top Five.
