Sydney is preparing to host a Bledisloe Cup Test for the first time in three years – and tickets to the blockbuster on 26 July are now on sale to the general public through Ticketek.
The ANZ Stadium showdown has already generated enormous interest during a two-week advance purchase window available to the Rugby Community.
Demand will increase further when tickets in all categories are released to the broader market, with prices starting at $39.50 for children.
Silver category tickets for the Qantas Wallabies clash with the All Blacks – one of six matches in this year’s Bundaberg Rum Rugby Series – are available at $114, the same price as 2005 when Australia last played New Zealand at Homebush.
Platinum category tickets (the best seats in the house) are priced across the board at $164, with Gold category tickets $144.
Bronze tickets have been set at $79 (adults), $39.50 (children) and $51 (concession).
Australian Rugby Union is also determined to offer fans significant value for money when the Qantas Wallabies make their first appearance in Sydney under new coach Robbie Deans against France at ANZ Stadium on 28 June.
Tickets to the Test between the Qantas Wallabies and the side that ended the All Blacks’ World Cup dream last year start at just $25 for children and $49 for adults.
In the Gold and Silver categories, prices have been set at their lowest levels in seven years for a Test against a top-tier nation.
Fans can purchase a Gold ticket for $84 – compared to $94 for the same category seat when France played the Wallabies at Homebush in 2002.
A family package (two adults-two children or one adult-three children) for the Test against the World Cup semi-finalists are being offered at $138 in the silver category and only $98 for bronze.
These prices represent a saving of $41 and $27 respectively on the corresponding family packages available for last year’s Sydney Test between the Qantas Wallabies and Wales.
Tickets to Qantas Wallabies Tests in Melbourne (against Ireland) and Perth (against South Africa) also go on sale tomorrow. Brisbane Test tickets for matches against France and the All Blacks go on sale Wednesday.
