Fainga'a says sayonara to Ballymore

Queensland Reds veteran Anthony Fainga'a will wave goodbye to Ballymore in 2017, signing a deal with Japanese Top League side, Kintetsu.

Fainga'a, who has played 97 Super rugby matches for Queensland, announced his move on Friday, via Twitter 

His departure ends the Fainga'a twins' time at the Reds, with Saia heading back to the Brumbies in 2017.

Younger brother, Colby, is making an impact in the Melbourne Rebels backrow.

After an injury-interrupted season in 2015, Fainga'a has eked out some consistent form at inside centre this season.

The former Wallabies back has played 101 Super Rugby matches, four for the Brumbies, before his Reds tally.

Kintetsu also announced the signing of Queensland winger Chris Feauai-Sautia, though it is understood he will return to the Reds next season.
