He's studying medicine full-time but Tom Robertson is set to tackle the Pumas on Saturday night, named on the bench by Michael Cheika.

Brumbies scrumhalf Tomas Cubelli is set to start for the Pumas in Saturday night’s clash with the Wallabies.

Cubelli has played 32 of his 51 Tests off the bench but this won’t be one of them, with the ACT halfback called into the starting team.

The 27-year-old said earlier in the week he had been trading Snapchat banter with his Super Rugby teammates and now he’ll have the chance to face off against them.

Cubelli is one of four changes to the starting lineup, along with Juan Manuel Leguizamon, Santiago González Iglesias and Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino.

Gabriel Ascarate is in line for his Test debut, named on the bench.

The Wallabies host the Pumas at nib Stadium on Saturday night, kicking off at 8:05pm AEST.
