National Sevens Champs: NSW and QLD take the honours in men's and youth competitions

NSW and Queensland have topped the lot at the National Youth and Men's Sevens Championships.

NSW Blue took out the girls' competiton with a 12-10 win over intrastate rivals NSW White in the final, with an all-QLD third place playoff finishing in QLD Red's favour.

It was a similar story in the boys' competition as NSW Blue thrashed QLD White to take a 45-0 win in the cup final with QLD Grey just edging NSW White for bronze.

QLD Red were the conquerors in the men's draw after a 28-7 win over NSW I as QLD Grey finished third.
