Scott Higginbotham has had his case adjourned until March 22.
The Reds flanker did not appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court, where his lawyer told the court the video footage of the incident was "quite telling".Higginbotham is charged with one count each of assaulting police and being found in a police establishment without a lawful excuse.
Outside court, defence lawyer Angelo Vernados said vision would be pulled from body-worn police cameras and CCTV footage.
After initially being stood down from training, the ARU Integrity Unit have since cleared Higginbotham and he is available for selection in Friday night's clash with the Sharks at Suncorp Stadium.
