The Waratahs refused to throw in the towel against the Hurricanes and after trailing by 26 at halftime ended up going down by just 10 after 80 minutes. Watch all the highlights right here.

Waratahs prop Sekope Kepu has been suspended for one week.

Kepu was given an off-field warning for a late tackle on Hurricanes' Jordie Barrett on Friday night, his third infringement of the season, automatically putting him in front of the judiciary.

Despite the fact that his two yellow cards had come from  repeated infringements in the past.

The 31-year-old will miss the Waratahs' clash with the Kings in a fortnight, with this week's bye not included in his suspension.

Kepu accepted the ban on Sunday night.

Hurricanes flyhalf Beauden Barrett will face a SANZAAR hearing, after a red card in Friday's clash.
