The Wallabies will play Argentina in Salta for the first time in 2018, with the full Rugby Championship schedule confirmed on Thursday.
Australia will have an altogether different Africa-Argentina leg, playing the Springboks in Port Elizabeth for the first time in 55 years, before going to Salta in Argentina's north.
Argentina has played South Africa in Salta in recent years, as well as hosting England, Italy, the USA and a NSW Barbarians side at the 20,000-capacity ground, in matches dating back to 2005.
The Wallabies have won the past six clashes against the Pumas, with their last defeat coming in 2014, in Mendoza.
Australia will host the Pumas on the Gold Coast in the home leg of their fixtures, their first Test at the ground since 2014.
Outside of that, kick-off times were confirmed for the Wallabies' other matches, in Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, on the Gold Coast and in South Africa, in the schedule.
New Zealand will play at a new venue in this year's tournament, hosting Argentina in Nelson.
