Rugby WA have made two changes to their side as they prepare to face the Rebels in Super W on Friday night.

Youngsters Zion Taurima and Dallys Tini come into the 23 after WA's 28-3 opening loss to Queensland as the women from the west look for round two redemption.

Tara Reed will take on the sole captaincy for the WA women this weekend after co-captain Natasha Haines suffered a wrist injury against Queensland.

Coach Shannon Symon said the team wanted to improve their attack when they face the Rebels.

“We took a lot away from the Queensland loss obviously we wanted to get the win but the girls proved they can play up to their level, there is a few things we need to tweak with our attack but we are generally pretty happy with how the girls played," he said.

“I was really impressed with our forward pack they stepped up and did all we asked, in fact there was a lot of players that really impressed so we will be looking for the same on Friday.”

“Our focus coming into this Melbourne match is just to focus on our game and how we play, once we get our processes right then we can start to look at what the other teams are doing on the pitch.”

The RugbyWA women take on the Rebels women at AAMI Park on Friday March 8, kicking off at 5pm AEDT, LIVE on Kayo Sports and via RUGBY.com.au, with a replay on FOX SPORTS after the Super Rugby.
