The Brumbies will don a Pasifika-inspired jersey for their round 18 clash against the Reds.

More than half of the Brumbies squad have Pasifika heritage and many of those players contributed to the design of the kit.

Fiji, the Cook Islands, Tonga, Niue Samoa are among the nations incorporated into the jersey, which aims to honour their respective cultures.

Hooker Folau Fainga'a designed the Tongan element of the jersey that represents themes including family, power and protection.

The jersey is part of a wider Pasifika round for the Brumbies, something that prop Scott Sio says is an important gesture from the club.

"I'm impressed by the way this team and organisation has embraced [Pasifika Day]," Sio said.

"That's something that's really special and something a lot of clubs haven't done. I'm thankful to the Brumbies for celebrating how far we've come."

Match-worn jerseys will also be put up for auction after the match.
