The big dance has arrived in Brisbane and Canberra and it's semi-final time in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Check out all of the lineups and fixtures for this weekend's club rugby.

QUEENSLAND PREMIER RUGBY

Grand final - Brothers vs University of Queensland, Ballymore, Sunday August 18

LIVE on redsrugby.com.au and on Foxtel.

A Hospital Cup win would mean plenty to all Brothers players but for Tom Moloney, it would be a trophy a lifetime in the making.

The Brothers captain started playing for the club at age four but will be playing in his first Hospital Cup final on Sunday when the Queensland Premier Rugby minor premiers line up against the University of Queensland.

"I've been at Brothers since a junior, I started when I was four years old, so on and off for 21 years and getting an opportunity at a grand final will be very exciting," Moloney said.

"It's pretty hard to put into words what a premiership would mean. The club's been a big part of my life, a lot of family have been there.

"When they won in 2016, I was very happy for the boys and obviously very proud to be a part of the club but would have loved an opportunity to play with those guys.

"It's good that we get the opportunity with this group."

Brothers have had an extraordinary turnaround this season after finishing second-last on the ladder last year.

Prop Moloney put it down in part to the arrival of Queensland Country NRC coach Rod Seib, as well as blooding several youngsters who will play a massive part in the outcome of Sunday's match.

Among them are Junior Wallabies back-rowers Fraser McReight and Harry Wilson, as well as teen winger Josh Flook, who was named Premier Rugby's U19 player of the year earlier this week.

"A few of these young guys had a bit of a taste last year and there were a few learnings from that, so it's good to come back with another year under their belt and give them the opportunity to have a crack at this level."

Brothers will face a buoyant UQ side after the Red Heavies beat defending premiers GPS last weekend to take their place in the grand final.

Unlike Moloney, UQ captain James Dalgleisjh will be playing his fifth Hospital Cup final, recognition of the Red Heavies' recent dominance of the competition.

But he knows Brothers will be no pushovers.

“We obviously lost to them the last time we played against them," he said.

“They’re going to field a pretty good side. I managed to watch the first half of them against Jeeps last week and it was pretty tightly contested.

“They’ve got a good backrow as well and they’ve also got Wilson playing at no.8.

“Their back three can offload and we’ll be looking to be really physical in defence so they can’t get those offloads away."

Brothers take on UQ in the Hospital Cup final at Ballymore on Sunday, August 18, kicking off at 3:05pm and broadcast LIVE on Foxtel and streamed via Redsrugby.com and the Reds' Facebook page.

Grand Final - Saturday August 17

Tuggeranong Vikings vs Royals, Viking Park, 3:25pm AEST

The two fierce rivals of Canberra club rugby will go at it yet again on Saturday in the John I Dent Cup grand final.

The Royals downed Vikings 21-13 in the Qualifying final two weeks ago but Tuggeranong bounced back to beat Uni-Norths Owls last weekend and progress to the decider.

The teams will be littered with Brumbies players, with Darcy Swain, Ryan Lonergan, Vunipola Fifita  and Angus Wagner turning out for Vikings and Connal McInerney and Andy Muirhead playing for Royals.

A handful of rising stars will also be on the pitch, with Junior Wallabies Lachlan Lonergan and Noah Lolesio playing for Vikings.

As usual, Royals will turn to halfback Pedro Rolando, who was named John I Dent's player of the year during the week, for inspiration.
