Tickets will go on sale today for the 2020 Tri Nations tournament which boasts six blockbusters on back-to-back weekends from 31 October to 5 December with matches across Sydney, Brisbane and Newcastle.

Argentina’s Los Pumas and the world famous All Blacks will take on the Qantas Wallabies for the Tri Nations crown for the first time since 2011, when Australia took home the trophy.

Two ANZAC clashes will kick start the tournament, with both matches to double as Bledisloe Cup fixtures, before a fired-up Argentina take on the All Blacks at Bankwest Stadium in Sydney.

The action then moves north with Newcastle to be the centre of the Rugby universe on back-to-back weekends for titanic match-ups between the Pumas and Wallabies before the All Blacks make their first-ever appearance in the Hunter region.

The final matchday sees Australia host Argentina with the Wallabies confirming they will don their First Nations jersey at Bankwest Stadium on 5 December.

Rugby Australia interim Chief Executive Rob Clarke said: “What an amazing six weeks we have in store. All eyes will be fixed on Australia with three of the best Rugby nations squaring off on back-to-back weekends to really heat up your summer.

“Thank you again to the NSW Government, Destination New South Wales and Tourism Australia for their support in making this tournament possible. They have been so accommodating in overcoming the various obstacles we have faced over the last few weeks, but now we can all shift our attention to the field and cheering on the Wallabies.

“History starts now. This is a new era for the Wallabies and Australian Rugby and there’s no better way to showcase that than a Tri Nations tournament all on home soil,” Clarke said.

Tickets are on sale now via Ticketek and Ticketmaster for the 2020 Tri Nations, depending on the match venue.
