All the highlights from the Super Rugby AU trial match from Viking Park.

The Force took to the field with a new look at Viking Park against the ACT Brumbies, donning a one-off club-inspired trial match jersey.

The predominantly white and blue jersey, designed by the players, pays homage to Western Australia through the presence of a large ‘W’ across the chest, the Sea of Blue and the importance of local community rugby clubs with each club logo present on the front of the jersey design.

Force players aligned to a club in WA will be signing their jerseys and presenting them to the respective clubs to give thanks and recognise the role community rugby plays in the development of players to the professional level of the game, including the likes of Kyle Godwin (Associates), Kane Koteka (Wests Scarborough) and Michael McDonald (Palmyra).

The team performed strongly in their first hit-out for 2021, coming agonisingly close only to go down by a point to the defending Super Rugby AU champions.
