The All Blacks host the Wallabies in Round 6 of The Rugby Championship in Wellington.

Wallabies prop Allan Alaalatoa understands the importance of delivering results as they embrace the atmosphere and pressure of a Grand Slam tour.

The squad has settled into their Coogee base ahead of their trip to England for the opening Test on November 10 (AEDT).

It signifies the start of Australia’s first shot at a Grand Slam since 2016, which is made extra significant with the British and Irish Lions heading Down Under next year.

“We understand the outcome is so important for us,” Alaalatoa said.

“Internally, it's all about focusing on our process. We understand we’re growing our game and we feel like we’re building nicely and as players and staff, we’re just continuing to pour into the process.

“This week heading into next week is so important for us to continue to build on what we finished with in the Rugby Championship, but also for us to get better as well.”

Alaalatoa and the Wallabies will head to Allianz Stadium (formally known as Twickenham) eager to break a nine year drought.

Australia has won once at the ground since 2013, a 33-13 win to knock out the hosts of the 2015 World Cup during the group stages.

“The experience of playing at Twickenham, it's awesome. That's a challenge as rugby players you want to be a part of,” he said.

"For those who haven't experienced it, it's probably for us who have to share those stories so it's not the first time they get out and experience that on Saturday. They can visualise that during the week, what's going to be coming and how loud it's going to be.

"...I love the fact it's our team and our staff against everyone there. That's an experience you love being involved in and it's special."

The Wallabies know it doesn't get easier after their English opener, with Wales, Scotland and world number one Ireland awaiting them.

“It’s awesome. We understand now we're going to spend five weeks together and we're going to play four Test matches in sold-out stadiums over there in the UK and Ireland, it's a great challenge," Alaalatoa added.

"It's something that as rugby players here in Australia we always want to be a part of and we’ve been blessed to be given that opportunity.”
