Skelton was unstoppable with three offloads to win the battle of the Australians against Pete Samu.
In other results, prop Malachi Hawkes got his maiden start for Stade Francais as they went down to Feleti Kaitu’u and Racing 92 49-24.
In Division Two, Ryan McCauley scored for Valence in their 69-21 win over USO Nevers.
It was another mixed round for the Australians in the Premiership as the fight for the finals heats up.
Northampton’s Australian contingent were in fine form as they defeated Bristol 48-31.
Fullback James Ramm set up a try and three line breaks in a composed performance as Josh Kemeny had three tackle busts and a turnover.
Angus Scott-Young came off the bench in the final ten minutes, with the win pushing the Saints into seventh.
However, it was a rough day for Scott Sio and Exeter, thumped 79-17 by Gloucester.
Sio started but was unable to stop the onslaught as the Chiefs sit in ninth on the ladder.
