Four Australians are up for awards as the SVNS World Series announces the nominees for the 2024/25 season.
Sevens superstar Maddison Levi is once again up for Women’s Player of the Year following a spectacular year, continuing her streak of nomination in every year she has played on the World Series

Levi is the defending winner of the award and the leading try-scorer in the competition with 51 tries so far, with one tournament left to go.
The speedster has been nominated alongside Kiwi ace Jorja Miller and Brazilian star Thaila Costa.
Argentinian duo Luciano Gonzalez and Marcos Moneta, along with Spanish star Pol Pla, are up for Men’s Player of the Year.
Teammate Kahli Henwood has been selected on the short-list for Women’s Rookie of the Year.
USA powerhouse Nia Toliver and Vika Nakacia are also up for the award.
Fellow Australian Aden Ekanayake is one of the front-runners for the Men’s Rookie of the Year.
Ekanayake has had a spectacular season and is nominated alongside Fiji’s George Boge and France’s Enahemo Artaud.
Heidi Dennis rounds out the Australian selections, up for Try of the Year.
Dennis’ incredible effort against New Zealand has been recognised, with the young gun finishing off Teagan Levi’s spectacular run to help Australia take out the Perth title.
"I’d like to congratulate our four nominees and wish them luck both on and off the field in Los Angeles," Director of High Performance Peter Horne said.
"Each player has had a fantastic season for their respective teams and to be nominated on the global stage is an incredible achievement."
The winners will be announced during the SVNS Final in Los Angeles on May 4.
