The Brumbies travelled to Eden Park to take on the Blues for a spot in next week's final.

The ACT Brumbies have continued to build their roster for 2023, re-signing centre Chris Feauai-Sautia on a one-year deal.

The former Red returned to Australia last year from French club Oyonnax, making his debut in round two against Fijian Drua.

He would go to play three games in Super Rugby Pacific, all off the bench, looking to add to these performances under new coach Stephen Larkham.

“I’m grateful to be staying here at the Brumbies for another season," he said in a statement.

“The culture here is awesome to be a part of and it was an easy decision to stay, especially with the group of boys we have here.

“I really enjoyed playing Super Rugby again and I’m excited to continue to work on my game to earn more minutes next season.”

The 28-year-old provides much-needed experience in a backline that has lost the likes of Tom Banks and Irae Simone overseas.

Larkham was equally pleased the powerful centre is staying in the nation's capital, excited to see his growth with a full, injury-free pre-season under his belt.

“It’s great to have Chris continuing with the club for 2023," he added.

“He’s an experienced Super Rugby player, popular in the group and with the work of the club’s performance staff, he made great strides in the program this year.

“At his best, Chris can be a match-winner and with his physicality and ball-carrying, he’s versatile enough to be an option for us in the centres or on a wing.”
