The Wallaroos will be boosted for their spring tour as winger Maya Stewart confirmed she's recovered from a hamstring injury.

The squad will head to Europe tomorrow, with Stewart's inclusion a massive boost after the flyer missed the July series.

The Waratah is the all-time leading try-scorer and point-scorer in Super Rugby W, scoring twice in three games in the Pac Four series.

But a lingering hamstring injury ruled her out of Tests against New Zealand and Fijiana, with the winger back to full contact during their Blacktown camps.

“It’s been pretty lengthy but obviously slightly conservative to make sure I can get away for WXV so it’s been really good," she told Rugby.com.au

“I’ve worked closely with the medical staff and did some contact today so back into training…hoping to get selected for that first Test (against Ireland next week) and hopefully knocking down the selection door.”

The Wallaroos will travel to Belfast for their first match against Ireland since the 2017 World Cup.

It will be a special moment for the Irish as Ireland Rugby Union celebrate their 150th anniversary.

For the Wallaroos, the matches against Wales and Ireland along with the WXV 2 campaign will serve as the perfect preparation before next year's World Cup in England.

“It’s very similar to a World Cup style prep when we’ve been out here and then in Canberra so it gives us that eight week block to replicate a year out," Stewart believes.

“I think that amount of Tests in that small window is really cool and we’ll get to see those girls who have been training and some new debutants but going away to Europe and South Africa, there’s going to be that changing climate and being away from families so it’s an interesting challenge that comes with it.

“We haven’t had Scotland since the World Cup, played Wales a few times and haven’t played Ireland for some time so that’ll be interesting.
