QUEENSLAND PREMIER GRADE - ROUND FOURTEEN

An eight point buffer now separates UQ for the chasing pack, and with the business end of the competition approaching they’ll be looking to maintain a solid run into finals. This weekend they host Sunnybank, Norths welcome Brothers, and Wests play host to Easts

GPS v Bond University - Both teams sit in the top of the ladder, however a near twenty points separates them. GPS this corresponding fixture away from home earlier this year and will be favourites to win this match, but Bond Uni have shown they can muster a surprise or two and do have it in them to beat this GPS team.

JOHN I DENT CUP - ROUND ELEVEN

Despite the Vikings going down at home to a determined Gungahlin side last week, they still hold a commanding ten point lead at the top of the ladder, which even despite having played an extra game still puts them in a strong contention to finish the season as minor premiers. They will travel to face an improving Queanbeyan side who thumped the Royals last week, while the men from the city face Uni-Norths.

RUGBY.com.au Match Of The Round:

Wests v Gungahlin: both sides are coming off impressive away wins over Uni-Norths and Tuggeranong respectively, and with second place up for grabs both sides will be up for this one. While Wests are a difficult outfit at home, it’ll be hard to put away an Eagles side many a ruthless victory this year already.

Other fixtures:

Canberra Royals v Uni-Norths

Queanbeyan v Tuggeranong

Associates are still a chance of making the top eight.

FORTESCUE PREMIER GRADE - ROUND THIRTEEN

With two rounds of the regular season to go, things are tightening up in Perth. Despite their win over Nedlands to see them reclaim the top of the ladder, UWA only hold a two point advantage, which would be all but wiped out if they don’t push hard now. This weekend they face the Southern Lions, Associates take on Perth Bayswater for a position in the top eight, and Wests Scarborough host Joondalup

RUGBY.com.au Match Of The Round:

Kalamunda v Cottesloe: in a weekend of great fixtures, this one between sixth and fourth will be a titanic struggle, especially given how much Kalamunda has troubled teams so much this season. Cottesloe have fought their way back after a lacklustre start to the season, but with so much on the line, they’ll likely expect a tough game when they face the Bulls.

Other fixtures:

Southern Lions v UWA

Wanneroo v ARKs

Associates v Perth Bayswater

Nedlands v Coastal Cavaliers

Palmyra v Curtin Uni

Wests Scarborough v Joondalup

DEWAR SHIELD - ROUND EIGHT

The Dewar Shield will replay it’s round eight fixtures this weekend, due to that round being affected by COVID. This week the Unicorns face off against Moorabbin, Uni take on Harlequins, and Box Hill will look to push for finals when they take on Footscray.

RUGBY.com.au Match Of The Round:

Endeavour Hills v Power House - despite their placing on the ladder, when it comes to performances on the field these two teams have come the closest to challenging Melbourne for the title. This weekend they’ll face off for finals positions, and with Endeavour Hills looking to keep touch in second and Power House looking to scrap into the top four, plenty is up for grabs in this fixture.

Other fixtures:

Melbourne v Moorabbin

Melbourne Uni v Harlequins

Box Hill v Footscray

RECAP:Wallabies' great escape

FIVE THINGS:Plenty to build on for Rennie
