Jack Debreczeni has extended his time at the ACT Brumbies.

The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies are excited to announce the extension of Super Rugby Pacific flyhalf Jack Debreczeni until the end of the 2025 season.

With over 80 total appearances in the top level of Super Rugby, including 22 for the Brumbies since joining the club in 2023, Debreczeni continues to prove his worth as a competition veteran in each outing that he dons the ACT colours.

Showcasing plenty of standout performances in 2023, Debreczeni reminded the competition of his playmaking prowess in Round 12 this year, as the 31-year-old guided the Brumbies to a crucial 29-21 win from the number 10 jersey in torrential rain at Allianz Stadium in Sydney.

Debreczeni says he is eager to continue building with the side as he hopes to keep up a winning culture next season.

“I was always keen to stay with the Brumbies so making it official is something that greatly excites me,“ said Debreczeni.

“Since joining the club both players and staff have made me feel very welcomed and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We have had two strong seasons since I joined, making the Semi-Finals in both, but I am looking forward to being a part of the push to go one further in 2025.”

ACT Brumbies Head Coach Stephen Larkham said: “locking in Jack for another season serves as a tremendous boost to our 2025 campaign.’

“Jack is a true professional and is a testament to the united culture we have created at the Brumbies as his experience continually pushes each member of our squad to perform at the highest level alongside him.”
