The signing of former Wallaroos and Sevens flyer Samantha Treherne has rounded out an impressive Western Force squad as the 2025 Super Rugby Women's season draws near.
Treherne, 31, is the latest and last in a string of Test recruits bound for Perth following the off-season acquisitions including Ashley Marsters, Sera Naiqama, Cecilia Smith and Allana Sikimeti.

The former Reds and Rebels back donned Wallaroo gold 14 times between 2017 and 2019 - including a 2017 Rugby World Cup campaign - to go with a World Series stint as part of a stacked 2018-19 Australian Sevens unit.
“Sam is capped in both 15s and sevens rugby internationally, so she brings quality," Force coach Dylan Parsons said in a statement.
"She’s experienced, she’s quick, has good rugby smarts and is skillful. She’s come out of professional programs, been in the Aussie Sevens, so she’s fit in well."
Earlier this week, the Force confirmed the signatures of Japanese duo Mio Yamanaka and Megumi Takagi with Treherne and home-grown backrower Taylor Waterson completing the 32-woman squad.
“We are really excited by the squad that’s been put together by the club this year," Parsons added.
"Retaining the performing players from last season and recruiting the best talent in Australia in identified positions was the goal and we believe we have been able to achieve this.”
