Pasilio Tosi wins it in extra time for the Hurricanes in Super Round

Pasilio Tosi was the hero as the replacement prop crashed over the line to win the game in the sixth minute of extra time.

Jordie Barrett was sent off in his 100th game for the club after collecting Jordan Petiaia high.

It failed to deter the Hurricanes as the teams traded tries across the 80 minutes.

Cam Roigard scored a double to level the scores with 15 minutes to go as the Reds couldn't deliver the killer blow.

Both sides traded blows in an entertaining contest that showcased two of the better attacking sides in the competition.

Fullback Ruben Love opened the scoring for the Hurricanes, diving over in the corner after just five minutes.

The Reds refused to drop their heads and eventually found a way over via Harry Wilson slamming the ball down.

The Hurricanes were riding high after their win over the Force and pressed the Reds’ line for several minutes.

They eventually found the line through Kini Naholo but Zane Nonggorr struck back seven minutes later from the rolling maul.

Tate McDermott and Harry Wilson recaptured their double-act heroics from Suncorp to put the co-captain over in the corner before his opposite number Cam Roigard levelled the scores at 19-all at the break.

The two teams traded tries to start the second half before the flashpoint came in the 56th minute.

Reds fullback Petaia was collected high by All Black Barrett, leading to the centre getting red-carded in the 58th minute.

It failed to deter the Hurricanes, with Roigard’s second countering Matt Faessler’s pushover try from the rolling maul.

The Reds had chances to close out the game but couldn’t find a way through the defence, sending the game into extra time.

This is where Tosi proved the difference, getting the turnover four minutes into extra-time before the prop crashed over for the win.
