LIVE: Two-time world champions South Africa lead Australia 18-12 in a rain-soaked second half at Optus Stadium.

The Wallabies are eager to bounce back as they face the Springboks in Perth after the world champions handed them a comprehensive 33-7 loss in Brisbane.

Tickets to the Wallabies home 2024 Test fixtures are available here.

Marika Koroibete and Angus Bell have been named in the starting side as the Wallabies look to rebound.

Meanwhile, South Africa is hunting for back-to-back wins in Australia for the first time in 53 years.

They have made ten changes to the starting side from last week with lock Salmaan Moerat captaining the team for the second time.

FOLLOW ALL THE ACTION LIVE FROM 7:45 PM AEST IN THE LIVE BLOG BELOW OR IN THE MATCH CENTRE

54' - Ruan Nortje returns the silly penalty favour inches away from Australia's chalk. Get-out-of-jail moment for the Wallabies there. Also quick shoutout to Seru Uru, who becomes Wallaby #985 as he joins the melee.

52' - Silly penalty there from Harry Wilson - the number eight checked his run to take out a South African kick chase and it's handed the Boks prime line out pill in Australia's 22m.

48' - Huge moment for Max Jorgensen, who becomes Wallaby #984 as he steps onto the field. Hunter Paisami has come off with an injury so Australia have shifted Len Ikitau to 12, Andrew Kellaway to 13 and Jorgensen to the wing. Looks like Slipper has also come from the field for a HIA with Billy Pollard fronting up at loosehead prop - uncontested scrums?

46' - WALLABIES PENALTY GOAL! Lolesio makes Marx pay for his off-ball hit on Nic White at the ruck base and Australia close in once again | Springboks 18-12

45' - First signs of the Bomb Squad emerging as Ox Nche and Malcom Marx enter the fray.

43' - SPRINGBOKS TRY! What a start to the second half from South Africa! Ill-discipline at the ruck from Marika Koroibete and back-chat from Nic White saw the visitors storm downfield and convert their rolling maul opportunity via Marco van Staden. Feinberg-Mngomezulu adds the extras to put his Boks ahead by nine | Springboks 18-9

40' - We're back underway here at Optus Stadium with the back-to-back world champions leading Australia by two! James Slipper and Zane Nonggorr have come on for Angus Bell and Alan Alaalatoa respectively up front for Australia while we haven't seen Moerat return for South Africa - not a bad replacement in Eben Etzebeth though!

HALF TIME - Late penalty goal miss from Lolesio leaves the visitors in front at oranges. How important will that miss prove in what's shaping as one hell of a contest? | Springboks 11 Wallabies 9

39' - 50-22 from Tom Wright! An error from the Springboks' restart is compounded by Wright's boot and Australia will attack from inside South Africa's red zone in the dying minutes of the half.

34' - WALLABIES PENALTY GOAL! Lolesio slots his third penalty goal of the night and the two-point margin is restored! Massive moment in this one - Australia received a penalty 40m out after an off-the-ball tackle on Ben Donaldson in space - and Lolesio makes no mistake off the tee | Springboks 11-9

31' - We're half an hour down and it's been a breathless start. Wallabies still holding on and have a scrum to exit their 22m but the Boks have already racked up six line breaks and six entries to Australia's red zone. Can the gold wall hold until half time?

28' - Cheslin Kolbe is a serious problem! The dual World Cup-winning winger plucked an intercept to stop a Wallabies 3-1 but didn't quite have the gas to get away from Australia's cover defence - keep an eye on his match-up with Koroibete this evening.

26' - SPRINGBOKS PENALTY GOAL! Feinberg-Mngomezulu restores the five-point buffer after Wessels gets on over Alaalatoa at scrum time | Springboks 11-6

23' - Australia defending their line grimly but South Africa are closing in again! Bit of how's-ya-father going on as well between Nic White and Lukhanyo Am - wouldn't be a TRC test without it! Play resumes with a Boks scrum 10m out.

21' - WALLABIES PENALTY GOAL! Noah Lolesio closes the gap to just two after Josh Nasser forces a breakdown penalty 38m out. Boks enforcer Eben Etzebeth has also made an early appearance with his skipper Salman Moerat taken off for an HIA | Springboks 8-6

17' - SPRINGBOKS TRY! What a brilliant piece of rugby from the visitors! Australia cough up possession after regathering the kick off and South Africa go 80m on the counter with Aphelele Fassi touching down. Conversion is unsuccessful but Springboks lead for the first time this evening | Springboks 8-3

16' - SPRINGBOKS PENALTY GOAL! Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu levels things up after a Wallabies error just outside their own 22 | Wallabies 3 Springboks 3

13' - Tom Wright you star! The Australian fullback gets a round of applause from the Perth faithful after a try-saving one-on-one tackle to deny Makazole Mapimpi in the top left corner. Mapimpi snaffled a loose kick and broke free but couldn't beat Wright in the corner - an exhilerating start here at Optus Stadium!

11' - Heart in mouth stuff there as both sides butcher linebreaks in the wet! First it was Marika Koroibete down the left touchline off a lovely Tom Wright counterattack before Cheslin Kolbe punched through the gold wall! Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu left to rue what might of been there as he drops Kolbe's pass with the chalk begging.

8' - Big moment early as Australia win their first scrum penalty against the Boks in 2024! Great work there from Alan Alaalatoa to get the better of Jan-Hendrik Wessels.

7' - Wallabies won possession back but the conditions are tough and Josh Nasser can't hit his first lineout throw. Springboks with an attacking scrum 38m out - what have the visitors got up their sleeve?

5' - A handling error from Andrew Kellaway has handed the Boks an attacking lineout 35m out from Australia's tryline. Big test coming up for the Wallaby defence here.

3' - WALLABIES PENALTY GOAL! Johan Grobbelaar pinged for taking out Nic White off the ball and Noah Lolesio slots a gift three points from in front | Wallabies 3-0

0' - And we're underway in Perth! Wallabies running left to right on your screens at home and they've forced an early error from the Boks. Play resumes with an Australia scrum 23m out from South African chalk.
