Rival captains Jeremy Williams and Du'Plessis Kirifi have shared their shock following the first ever Super Rugby Pacific draw on Saturday night.
The Western Force and Hurricanes couldn't break their 17-all deadlock during the 10-minute Super Point period with Ben Donaldson narrowly missing a long-range penalty goal attempt and Reuben Love's last-gasp drop goal attempt shaving the woodwork.

The thrilling finale capped a whirlwind 90 minutes that saw Callum Harkin's try and a Fehi Fineanganofo double wiped by Donaldson's 78th minute penalty goal and Force five-pointers to Mac Grealy and Bayley Kuenzle.
Speaking with Stan Sport post-game, Force skipper Williams revealed he initially thought a second period would be played after Love's final play before the reality sunk in.
"First time I've ever played in extra time - I actually thought we had another half so yeah, I didn't know it was full time there," Williams said.
"I thought Donno did a really good job playing territory there and getting us to the right ends of the field. Just unlucky there but what a battle."
"We can definitely see the growth there, heading in the right direction although we would've love to have come away with the win, we'll take those learnings.
Hurricanes skipper Kirifi was similarly muted during the Stan Sport post-game.
"Awesome game but I'm sure they (Western Force) are just as frustrated as we are and deservedly so," Kirifi told host Nick McCardle.
"That was probably a fair result, they played some awesome rugby and so did we in parts but both teams made a lot of mistakes and didn't capitalise on (their) momentum.
"I don't know how you want to look at it.
"I guess you could say both teams deserved to draw after that."
