Needing a win to keep their Bledisloe hopes alive, the Wallabies looked to set a free-flowing tempo early on.
However, it would come back to haunt them Rieko Ioane snatched onto an intercept and ran 80 metres to score first for the hosts.
This failed to deter Dave Rennie’s men as Noah Lolesio found Andrew Kellaway with a cross field kick, who beat his man to hit straight back.
The All Blacks re-established their lead after a nice backline move, finished off by Brodie Retallick.
Ardie Savea would extend the lead shortly afterwards as he proved too strong to stop for Tate McDermott.
With time running out in the half, the Wallabies took the upper hand and pushed for a late try, turning down multiple shots at three.
The Kiwis eventually faltered, allowing McDermott to scoot over to reduce their margin to 21-15 at the break.
The weight of penalties before the half looked to have come back and haunt the All Blacks as Ardie Savea was issued a yellow.
In the end, this galvanised the hosts, who proceeded to outscore their opposition 10-0 in the period thanks to a Codie Taylor try and a monster Damian McKenzie penalty.
With momentum completely on their side, Sevu Reece scored their second intercept try of the night as any attempts of a Wallabies comeback were shut out.
Taylor would cross for his second shortly afterwards as the onslaught on points continued, capped by a try to the returning Will Jordan.
Kellaway would eventually find some positives for the Wallabies as he found the line for a double.
However, the damage was done as the All Blacks raced away with the win and the Bledisloe, capped off by a David Havili try.
It marks the All Blacks highest points tally at Eden Park, ensuring a bonus point to kick off their Rugby Championship campaign.
