Western Force flyhalf Ben Donaldson is eager to have multiple opportunities to face the British & Irish Lions on the upcoming tour.
Donaldson re-signed with the club until the end of the 2027 Rugby World Cup on Friday, one of several big-name stars to re-commit for the long-term.

The Force will open the 2025 tour against the Lions on June 28, eight days before the Wallabies face Fiji in their lone warm-up game in Newcastle.
Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt has indicated he will allow certain Force players to stay with the club before joining the national set-up.
"I'd love to play in it," Donaldson told Rugby.com.au on Friday.
"It'd be a pretty awesome game to play here at Optus Stadium and the boys here at the Force are extremely keen for that.
"Hopefully I'm allowed to play in that pending Wallabies selection, which there hasn't been much said, but I'd love to play. We've got a special Indigenous jersey and it'd be a pretty cool, you know, game to start the series against the Lions."
Donaldson finds himself in a hotly contested field to start for the Wallabies at flyhalf for the three-Test series.
The likes of Tom Lynagh and Noah Lolesio will be in action in the final round and are locked into finals action, with Donaldson having gone toe-to-toe with good mate and Waratahs flyhalf Tane Edmed on Saturday.
"It's really good to see boys putting their hand up this year," Donaldson notes.
"There's a lot of depth in that position now, which is really good to see. Even further with guys like Declan Meredith for the Brumbies, Harry McLaughlin-Phillips (at the Reds), there's a lot of boys who are putting their hand up, which really shows a good depth in that position now.
"It does add fuel to the fire, you've got to play well if you want to get picked. I've just prepped, you know, how I normally do and just let the performances do all the talking."
