Ashby suffered the injury during the Final against New Zealand, going down in agony after tackling Jorja Miller.
The 23-year-old was captaining her side for the first time in Singapore with no Charlotte Caslick and Sharni Smale, named to the Singapore Dream Team alongside Faith Nathan.
Dick meanwhile did not feature after day one, having been thrust into the starting side against Great Britain.
It reflects a brutal tournament with just three months until the Olympics, with League Winners New Zealand also losing Shiray Kaka to an ACL injury.
The losses of Ashby and Dick will be offset by the return of Caslick and Smale, with Bienne Terita firmly for a return.
The SVNS world series will head to Madrid for the Final, with both Australian sides qualifying after finishing in the top four.
The Women have drawn France, Fiji and Ireland in Pool B, whilst New Zealand, USA, Canada and Great Britain make up Pool A.
For the Men, they'll face Argentina, Great Britain and France as Singapore winners New Zealand take on South Africa, Fiji and Ireland.
The top two sides will make it to the semi-finals, where the overall winners of the circuit will be crowned.
