Melbourne Rebels and Wallabies centre Matt To'omua has confirmed his departure from Australian Rugby.
To'omua returned from Leciester in 2019 with the Melbourne-based franchise after debuting for the Brumbies in 2008.

He would step into the captaincy role for 2021 in place of Dane Haylett-Petty, going on to play 42 games for the Rebels.
The 32-year-old was a suprising omission from the first Wallabies squad of 2022, almost 12 months after he started the first Test against France.
With his future undecided and the likes of Carter Gordon taking over the flyhalf duties, To'omua confirmed 'it's time for the next gen'.
"It was an absolute pleasure playing in Australian Rugby and a dream come true to represent the Wallabies," To'omua said on social media.
"It’s now time for the Next Gen to enjoy the honour and privilege.
"Thanks to everyone who made this possible."
To'omua made an instant impact after his debut for the Brumbies in 2008, establishing himself as a player for the future.
He would guide the Brumbies to the Super Rugby Final in 2013, eventually making his Wallabies debut later that year.
The playmaker would play in two World Cups in 2015 and 2019 before returning back to Australian Rugby with the Rebels, playing 59 games for the Wallabies.
