The Melbourne Rebels have announced the team for their first trial of the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific Season.
Fresh recruits Lukhan Salakaia-Loto, Matt Proctor and Filipo Daugunu bring a new edge and dynamism to the starting XV, alongside Club stalwarts Josh Kemeny and Brad Wilkin.
The Melbourne Rebels' match up against Weary Dunlop Shield Rivals, the NSW Waratahs proves to be an excellent opportunity for Head Coach Kevin Foote to prepare for the upcoming Super Rugby Pacific competition.
Bringing a busy schedule to Moorabbin Rams Rugby Club, there will be heaps of chances for fans to meet their favourite players throughout the day! For young rugby locals, also the opportunity to be involved in a Rugby Victoria and Moorabbin Rams Rugby Club clinic, with a host of games and fun activities.
The Rebels will kickoff at 4 pm AEDT. Unfortunately, the clash won’t be streamed, but Rebels Media will provide an update on the match result, with highlights to come post-game.
