Australia U20s coach Chris Whitaker has named a 32-player squad for next month's training camp in Coffs Harbour.

The week-long camp begins on April 4 and starts preparation for a bumper season that includes the U20 Rugby Championships in South Africa and the World U20s in Italy.

Tickets for the 2025 British & Irish Lions Tour are available here.

Queensland Reds centre Dre Pakeho headlines the squad after his recent Super Rugby Pacific debut.

Pakeho started against the Western Force in Round Three and has been named on the bench for Saturday's clash with the Western Force.

He is joined by prop Trevor King, who returns for his third straight season in the U20 set-up.

King is one of several returning stars from last year alongside Brumbies fullback Shane Wilcox, and Waratahs lock Eamon Doyle and scrumhalf Hwi Sharples amongst others.

Reds centre Frankie Goldsbrough is one of several unavailable stars for the camp after picking up an injury.

Sevens trio Aden Ekanayake, Hadley Tonga and Sid Harvey are also unavailable as they will be with the Australian team in Hong Kong and Singapore.

"It's really pleasing to be able to name such a talented group of players off the back of last year's Super Rugby Men's U19 competition, and the recent Super Rugby Academy and A games," Whitaker said in a statement.

Whitaker also confirmed former All Blacks lock Jeremy Thrush, ex-Brumbies hooker John Ulugia and Damien Hill as part of his coaching staff.

"Bringing everyone together in Coffs Harbour, there will be a big focus on connection and getting to know each other," Whitaker believes.

"For our group it represents an important first step on the path towards the World Rugby U20 Championship."
