During the final round for the regular season, the Waratahs have continued their winning streak against the Brumbies with a 36-23 win.

From the onset of the game, the physicality was on show from both teams, with the ball being ripped out of both teams' captains in the first 7 mins.

The Brumbies got a penalty from the Waratahs not rolling away from the ruck and Faitala Moleka scored the first points of the game.

There were consistent warnings towards the Waratahs about properly rolling away from the ruck and Leilani Nathan got a yellow card a minute after the warning.

Despite this, the Waratahs had a long push towards their tryline in the lead up to their first points for the game, with Annabelle Codey finally scoring for the visitors.

In an awkward collision, Moleka received medical attention in an incident that would've frightened Wallaroos coach Jo Yapp. They taped up her knee, and she continued to play.

After this, Lily Bone scored a try for the Brumbies following the scrum five metres away from their try line.

Tabua Tuinakauvadra deliberately knocked the ball out, which gave the Waratahs a penalty and lineout for Faliki Pohiva to score off the play for the Waratahs.

Keia Mae Sagapolu Sanele scored for the Brumbies but upon playback of the footage, her foot was on the line due to a tackle from Piper Duck, yet the try still counted.

Faliki Pohiva made a notable textbook tackle that drove Ashley Fernandez 5m back to spark the visitors. Waratahs captain, Piper Duck, capitalised as she drove the ball over the line as the half time whistle went off, making the Waratahs the only team all year to score a maul try against the Brumbies for a 19-13 lead.

To start off the second half, the home team added a penalty awarded to them after the Waratahs failed to roll away in a ruck.

Following this, Emily Chancellor passed the ball to Faliki Pohiva to score a try for the Waratahs.

The Brumbies won a penalty, choosing to kick it away. It delivered a magic chance when the Waratahs fumbled the catch. Biola Dawa used her quick initiative to run towards the rolling ball, and after an assist from Jay Huriwai, she scored a try.

Towards the end, the Waratahs were given a penalty lineout after the Brumbies made a dangerous tackle, and the Waratahs captain, Duck, scored off this for her second.

As the full-time siren went off, Maya Stewert scored for the Waratahs, bringing up the final score to 36-23.
