The Crookwell Dogs Rugby Club are set to celebrate their 50th year anniversary over the ANZAC Day Weekend.
To celebrate, the club has created a book about their history, including comprehensive biographies of Wallabies lock Philip Clements and Brumbies prop James McCormack
Clements, who is from the region, went on to play for the club in country rugby a couple of years after playing for Australia in a Bledisloe Test whilst McCormack went from captaining the Dogs to replacing the injured Jeremy Paul in Super Rugby.
The book is a heartfelt tribute to the Crookwell Dogs Rugby Club's rich history and enduring impact on the community. It covers the origins of rugby union in the district, as well as the last 50 years of the modern club's triumphs, challenges, and key moments, offering an in-depth look at its legacy both on and off the field
