It will be run in the first week of March between March 1-3 at AAMI Park.

The opening night will be kicked off with the Highlanders taking on the Blues.

This will be followed by an all-Australian derby with hometown team Melbourne Rebels facing rivals Western Force.

On Saturday, it'll be a battle of the Pacific sides as Fijian Drua face Moana Pasifika before the defending champions Crusaders face the NSW Waratahs.

The round will conclude with minor premiers Chiefs facing the ACT Brumbies in a rematch of the 2023 semi-finals, followed by the Hurricanes taking on the Reds.

“We are thrilled to share the exciting news of Super Round's return to Melbourne in 2024, marking the third edition of this sensational event. Working in collaboration with TEG and our wonderful partners, we are determined to make Super Round even more extraordinary," Super Rugby Pacific Tournament Director Matt Barlow said.

"Once again, Super Round will bring together the world's best rugby players in one city over one action-packed weekend. Our aim is to cater to a broader audience and warmly welcome new fans of the game, encouraging them to come and experience the thrill and passion of rugby firsthand.

"After witnessing an incredible turnout at the recent Bledisloe Cup in Melbourne and with the anticipation building for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, we are excited to return to Melbourne and can’t wait for what Super Round 2024 has in store.”

“We are delighted to be working with the Victorian Government, New Zealand Rugby, Rugby Australia, SANZAAR and all the Super Rugby teams to bring Super Round back to Melbourne," TEG Group CEO Geoff Jones added.

"Support for rugby continues to grow in Melbourne, highlighted by the increasing crowds for Super Round and the incredible crowd last weekend for the Bledisloe Cup clash.

"We are confident that this Super Round is going to be the biggest and best one yet!”

The remainder of the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific draw will be confirmed in the coming days, slated to be announced August 16
