The Brumbies have continued to bolster their back-row for the future, re-signing Jahrome Brown until the end of 2023.
Brown has been a revelation for the club since making his debut in 2019 against the Reds, scoring after just six seconds on the field.

He was a mainstay of their back-row in 2021 before a knee injury during Super Rugby AU ruled him out for the rest of the season.
“I’m really happy to be staying in Canberra with the Brumbies for at least the next two years," Brown said in a statement.
“The Brumbies gave me a chance coming across from New Zealand in 2018 and I’m grateful to have worn the colours and will continue to put my best foot forward for the club.
“We have a special group here where we enjoy working hard together, so being part of that every day is awesome and I’m just really excited to continue to represent the Brumbies.”

This was shared by coach Dan McKellar, who was excited to see what the New Zealand-born Brown could achieve as he enters his career's 'prime years'.
“We’re thrilled Jahrome will be sticking around at the Brumbies for at least the next two seasons," he added.
“Jahrome has become an important player in our group and while he's been unlucky with injury at times the last couple of seasons, he’s impressed when on the park and has continued to set really high standards in training.
“He’s tough, he’s physical and he has a great engine so retaining him to complement our young backrows was really important for us.
“In saying that, he’ll just be turning 25 when preseason rolls around so he’s entering his prime years with room to grow and we believe he’ll be a big contributor for us moving forward.”
