Super Rugby Pacific 2025 Draw Revealed: Reds handed big ANZAC Day matches as Suaalii's Waratahs debut locked in

The Super Rugby Pacific draw has been confirmed for the 2025 season as part of an extended 16-round regular season.

The action begins on Friday 14 February with the Crusaders and Hurricanes clashing in Christchurch before NSW Waratahs fans get their first look at new signing Joseph Suaalii as they face the Highlanders at Allianz Stadium.

It will also mark Dan McKellar's first game in charge of the new-look Waratahs, with the former Brumbies coach matching up with his old side in Round Six.

The Brumbies will head to Fiji for their opening game of the season for a dangerous clash with the Drua, followed by a Grand Final rematch between the Blues and Chiefs.

The Western Force host Moana Pasifika to conclude the first round as the Queensland Reds open their season round two against the Pasifika side headlined by new recruit Ardie Savea.

As part of ANZAC Weekend Round, the Reds will resume their rivalry with the Blues on ANZAC Day as the Western Force travel over the Tasman to face the Chiefs.

Meanwhile, the ACT Brumbies welcome the Hurricanes to Canberra in a clash of the capitals.

Round three sees the return of Culture Round, headlined by the Force facing the Reds whilst Kids Round will be Round Five.

"We are delighted to unveil the draw for 2025 so members and fans can begin circling dates in their diaries and making plans for the season ahead,” Super Rugby Pacific CEO Jack Mesley said.

“From Suva to Sydney, Canberra to Christchurch, and even a blockbuster in Tonga, our competition will again deliver its brand of fast, physical and thrilling rugby, starring some of our game’s greatest athletes.

“Traditional rivalries will be reignited and new challengers emerge as the reigning champion Blues launch their first title defence in more than two decades.”
