You could make an argument that three of the top five players from the weekend were open-side flankers (Reimer, Carlo Tizzano, Charlie Gamble), but the Brumby was the standout.

This included three turnovers in the final 25 minutes, which prevented the Drua from closing out the game and inspired a famous win.

He didn’t miss a tackle all day whilst helping out down the dangerous Iosefo Masi in the midfield.
Pietsch was excellent off the bench from his first touch of the ball.
The winger played just over a half hour off the bench but was excellent as he set up a try and scored another.
His run to crash over with five minutes left was classic Pietsch, running a great line to pierce the defence off a scrum set play to start the comeback.
Suaalii did enough to get selected over Mac Grealy after an eventful start to his Super Rugby career.
The fullback’s run to set up Max Jorgensen was massive whilst playing a big role in the play that saw Caleb Tangitau yellow-carded.
It edged him ahead of the former Red, who scored a quality try and was reliable in defence.
