Rugby.com.au selects its Team of the Week from the Australian teams in Round Ten.

1. James Slipper

Slipper came off the bench and put in a big shift for the Brumbies.

He commanded set-piece dominance, and his work in the engine room of the maul was big to get Billy Pollard over for a double.

2. Billy Pollard

Speaking of Pollard, it’s hard to ignore the hooker after his impactful 30 minutes off the bench.

Pollard is establishing himself as one of the better try sneaks in the game after his double, showing underrated patience.

But what clinches this spot for Pollard is his work at scrum and lineout time, making ten from ten throws.

3. Tom Robertson

Robertson gave Xavier Numia a working over at scrum-time during the draw.

The tight-head folded the All Blacks XV front-row all night to draw four penalties out of him.

It came after another reliable defensive outing with 12 tackles without a miss.

4. Jeremy Williams

Williams worked tirelessly across the 90 minutes in the draw.

Despite his lack of Super Time knowledge, Williams’ leadership and influence were a major reason why they found themselves in a position to win the game late.

He won two big turnovers in the final 12 minutes with the Force down 17-14.

5. Nick Frost

Frost was a defensive menace as the Moana Pasifika attackers put the Brumbies under pressure throughout the first half.

The lock made 12 tackles in the first half, with only Allan Alaalatoa topping him, whilst winning a turnover on their line.

6. Rob Valetini

Valetini kept the Brumbies motoring in the testing conditions thanks to his barnstorming carries.

His 15 hit-ups topped the count for the visitors, recording an immense 25 post-contact metres.

On top of this, Valetini didn’t miss a tackle in ten attempts, including a key try-saver.

7. Carlo Tizzano

Tizzano’s battle with DuPlessis Kirifi was awesome all night as he got the better of the All Blacks hopeful.

He kept motoring well into extra time with several big tackles, the only player into the 20s with 22 tackles.

This, coupled with six tackle busts and a line break, made him a clear selection.

8. Langi Gleeson

Gleeson was the standout for the NSW Waratahs in the defeat to the Fijian Drua.

Coming off the bench, he was one of the few to win the collision battle in the testing conditions constantly.

His try in the 25th minute kept the Waratahs in the contest after a fast Drua start, whilst showing his dominance in defence and attack.

9. Nic White

White was causing the Hurricanes' drama all night before his departure due to injury.

The Wallaby’s cut-out ball to hit Mac Grealy for a five-pointer was the type of ball coaches should show anyone trying to master how to become a scumhalf.

It was one of two try assists for White, who also had a trio of line break assists.

10. Ben Donaldson

Donaldson was big for the Force despite missing two chances to win the game in extra time.

The penalty with 90 seconds to go was clutch from the playmaker, to go with two key conversions.

He was also damaging with his running game with three tackle busts.

11. Corey Toole

Toole broke the game open with his blistering pace and acceleration.

His work to chase down and re-gather the kick on half-time for the opener is the type of play only he could pull off.

He then raced away late to seal the win for his second line break of the night and to complete the double.

12. Hamish Stewart

Stewart showed the type of play that earned him a Wallabies call-up.

He kept a dangerous Hurricanes midfield relatively quiet thanks to a remarkable 17 tackles.

The former flyhalf also displayed the playmaking skills with a pair of line break assists.

13. Ollie Sapsford

Sapsford filled Len Ikitau’s void perfectly in the tough conditions.

The former Hawke’s Bay star worked hard across the park and came up with two big turnovers with the game in the balance.

14. Harry Potter

Potter went to a different level on Saturday night.

Aside from his best efforts to headbutt a Stan Sport camera, the Wallabies winger among his side's best with six tackle busts, two line breaks and three offloads.

It was enough to earn the razor-thin decision over Andy Muirhead, who continues to build his case for a Wallabies call-up or a First Nations Pasifika berth at the bare minimum.

15. Mac Grealy

It was another big performance for the Force fullback as he emerged as a long-term option at the back.

Grealy has excelled since moving across from Queensland and topped the Force's carries (22), metres gained (including post-contact) along with his try.

With a causal seven tackle busts, Grealy is emerging as a bolter for higher honours.
