The final round of Super Rugby Women's saw plenty of standouts in two matches with heavy finals implications.

The NSW Waratahs did enough to hold off the ACT Brumbies to secure top spot whilst the Queensland Reds were dominant against the Western Force.

Rugby.com.au selected its Team of the Week for Round Five.

1. Bree-Anna Browne (Queensland Reds)

Browne held her own at scrum-time and earned the nod at loosehead.

Her work around the park was solid, not missing a tackle and ensuring a solid Reds set-piece.

2. Adiana Talakai (NSW Waratahs)

Talakai was at her physical best in the win over the Brumbies.

The hooker recoded double digit tackles and delivered some powerful carries.

3. Eva Karpani (Queensland Reds)

Karpani is back in the form that won her Wallaroos Player of the Year.

The Reds wrecking ball was unstoppable as he recorded a hat-trick to get the Reds a home semi-final.

4. Annabelle Codey (NSW Waratahs)

Codey got through a mountain of the grunt work for the visitors and was rewarded with a try.

The second row topped the carries with 18, making five tackle busts and a line break.

5. Ash Fernandez (ACT Brumbies)

The Brumby held her own in a battle against two capped Wallaroos.

She had a pair of lineout steals whilst making 15 tackles in a tough defensive performance.

6. Zoe Hanna (Queensland Reds)

Hanna thrived in the back-row after a late call-up for the Reds, feasting against the Force.

The Bond Uni product caused the Force problems with her running game with two line breaks, six tackle busts and a try.

7. Emily Chancellor (NSW Waratahs)

Chancellor has stepped up for the Waratahs in the crunch moments.

She caused the Brumbies havoc as she set up two tries to go with 16 tackles without a miss.

8. Piper Duck (NSW Waratahs)

Like Chancellor, Duck has saved her best form for the big moments.

The Waratahs skipper crossed for a double and should’ve had a try-saving tackle on her stat sheet if not for a missed touch call.

9. Ella Ryan (ACT Brumbies)

Ryan stood out for the Brumbies against her old side, making one last Wallaroos push.

Her distribution was massive in getting quick ball into the midfield and wings as the Brumbies pushed for victory.

10. Lori Cramer (Queensland Reds)

Cramer looked a lot more settled in the ten jersey this week as she guided the Reds around the park perfectly.

Her break to set up Eva Karpani’s try at half-time showed off the running game as the Wallaroo had two line breaks and 14 points.

11. Desiree Miller (NSW Waratahs)

Miller was excellent on the wing in getting the Waratahs the minor premiership.

The winger was bust in attack with four tackle busts and two line breaks, averaging close to ten metres a carry.

12. Shalom Sauaso (Queensland Reds)

Sauaso has been one of the Reds’ best in their mini-season revival.

The young centre swatted away defenders with seven tackle busts and a team-high 102 metres.

13. Georgina Friedrichs (NSW Waratahs)

Friedrichs held her own in the midfield in victory for the Waratahs.

Her combination with Katrina Barker was excellent in limiting the Brumbies’ attack whilst earning a key turnover.

14. Vani Buleki (Western Force)

The Force winger was the side’s main attacking threat and was a handful until the end.

The Fijian gassed the Reds down the sideline for a try in a complete performance that saw her have three line breaks and eight tackle busts.

15. Charlotte Caslick (Queensland Reds)

Caslick was a key distributor for the Reds at the back in the heavy victory.

Her ball to set up Hanna was a beauty. It was one of three line break assists, along with the try assist and three tackle busts.
