Teenage sensation Bienne Terita has made a major statement, scoring 16 tries in six games as Australia A took out the Coral Coast Sevens over the weekend.

The Australians dominated the tournament in Fiji, backed by DFAT, conceding just 15 points across the weekend as they cruised to victory.

Head coach Tim Walsh used the opportunity to give a number of World Series regulars further game-time ahead of back-to-back events in Hamilton and Sydney.

Lily Dick made a positive return after missing Cape Town whilst Teagan Levi continues to shine and looms as a key player to watch this season.

However, Terita was the shining light of the tournament as she claimed the Rusila Nagasau Medal as player of the tournament.

It started with hat-tricks against Tagimoucia and Ram Sami Army before scoring four against Rabu Soro Angels.

A further double against Nadraki Lilian Amazons sealed the dream group stages for the Aussies, supported in kind by emerging stars Kahli Henwood and Isabella Nasser.

The form continued into the finals as the Australians comfortably booked their place in the finals with a 26-0 victory over Navosa.

Terita powered the team home in the final with a hat-trick, sealing the 28-5 win over Seahawks and the title.

It continues a remarkable 12 months for the 19-year-old, which included a double on Wallaroos debut before emerging as one of the stars of Rugby World Cup 2021.

Meanwhile, Australian Schoolboys were eliminated in the semi-finals of the youth competition.

The team went through the group stages undefeated before falling to a 17-15 defeat to PSM Aflame Brothers in wet conditions despite a double to Hwi Sharples
