Toby Macpherson and Ronan Leahy have been named to lead Australia in next month's U20 Rugby Championship on the Sunshine Coast.
Lock Macpherson will captain the 31-man squad with outside back Leahy his deputy for the inaugural tournament, which sees Australia tackle Argentina (May 2), South Africa (May 7) and New Zealand (May 12).

A product of Uni-Norths Owls, Macpherson featured heavily in last year's U20 World Championship campaign, scoring two tries in five games, while Leahy has tasted top-flight footy across U20s, Shute Shield and with the Western Force over the past 12 months.
Speaking after a week-long training camp in regional NSW, Macpherson told rugby.com.au it was an "honour" to be named captain.
"It's a privilege to lead my country and it means the world to me," Macpherson said.
"We've got a really unique group of players and did a lot of team building down in Kangaroo Valley. Great to break the ice between the boys from different states and get to know each other and set a few values going into the tournament."
"We're really excited to be part of the inaugural (U20 TRC) and the opportunity that it poses heading into a World Cup."
Leahy told rugby.com.au he was "surprised" to be named vice-captain by coach Nathan Grey but says he's excited for the journey ahead.
"I honestly wasn't expecting it but it's such an honour and I'm very grateful. I'll be helping Toby wherever I can," Leahy told rugby.com.au.
"I'd actually just got home and he (Grey) rang me up to let me know - the folks are pretty happy about it.
"It's one of the highest honours to represent your country and it's just great to have more games and more exposure heading into the World Cup."
