The Wallabies like you've never seen before. Follow Australia's national rugby team and former coach Eddie Jones on their journey to Rugby World Cup 2023 and beyond. The three-part Stan Original Documentary Series, The Wallabies: Inside Rugby World Cup 2023 premieres February 22 with all episodes available at once, only on Stan.

Stan has confirmed the Wallabies documentary will be released to the public on February 22.

Stan confirmed the filming of the three-part series in July, following the team as it went through the 2023 season.

"Created by award-winning production company CJZ in conjunction with Karlinberg Entertainment (Karl Stefanovic and Richard Weinberg), this extraordinary look inside the Wallabies inner sanctum will offer exclusive access to Eddie Jones as he takes over the team just nine months out from the tournament, and with the hope of transforming the Wallabies into world champions," Stan said in a statement.

"This is the first time Rugby Australia has given anyone an all-access pass to the Wallabies in over 30 years, giving audiences an unfettered look at the side as they attempt to claim glory, despite the chaos of controversial selections, injury and scandalous headlines all around them."

The Wallabies suffered their worst season statistically under Eddie Jones, winning just two games across the season.

This included a group stage exit at the Rugby World Cup, the first time it has ever happened to the Australian side.

It will follow around the likes of axed skipper Michael Hooper along with stars James Slipper, Taniela Tupou, Nic White, Nick Frost, Allan Alaalatoa and Carter Gordon.

"With the weight of the world on their shoulders, cameras follow the Wallabies through team camps, training sessions, dressing rooms, and on the field as they take part in The Rugby Championship, Bledisloe Cup and Rugby World Cup 2023," Stan added.

"Rugby and documentary fans alike will get an insider peek behind the scenes of every devastating loss, every agonising injury, and every candid moment of the players as they crash out of the most controversial Rugby World Cup campaign in Australian Rugby history."

It will broadcast on the eve of the Super Rugby Pacific season, set to open with the Melbourne Rebels taking on the ACT Brumbies.
