Wallabies flyhalves Noah Lolesio and Ben Donaldson will battle it out as the ACT Brumbies and Western Force face off in their final pre-season trial at Marist College on Friday.

Lolesio is the key new face from last week's draw with the NSW Waratahs, with coach Stephen Larkham keeping a majority of his Wallabies stars on the sidelines.

The Wallabies starter slots into the halves alongside Ryan Lonergan, who comes into the starting side after scoring from the bench.

Corey Toole, Lachlan Lonergan and Tom Hooper also boost the starting side, with Billy Pollard onto the bench.

“We were well organised against the Waratahs and our performance was a good start to what we’re trying to achieve this year, so we wanted to keep the bulk of that starting lineup from the outset again on Friday,” Larkham said.

“Once again, we’ll be making sure that minutes are spread throughout the team to ensure everyone gets some time out on the pitch.

“Although we haven’t seen the Force yet this pre-season, they’ve made some really strong additions to their squad, and we won’t be taking them lightly.

“As per the Waratahs game last week though, we haven’t prepared anything specific for the opposition, we have been concentrating on ourselves and putting patterns in place for the season ahead.”

As for the Western Force, they have named close to their full strength side for the final hit-out.

Nic White and Ben Donaldson start in the halves, with fellow Wallaby Harry Potter named at fullback.

Harry Johnson-Holmes (Achilles), Reesjan Pasitoa (shoulder) and Atu Moli (shoulder) will all return from long-term injuries, with Johnson-Holmes one of seven new signings to start.

This includes Darcy Swain, who returns to Canberra for the first time since his move.

Wallaby Carlo Tizzano starts in the back-row alongside Nick Champion de Crespigny and Vaiolini Ekuasi
