They face a Springboks side eager to rebound after their second straight defeat of the Rugby Championship, sitting at the bottom of the ladder.
It will be played at the new Allianz Stadium, the first International event at the new Sydney ground.

The Wallabies will next play South Africa in Sydney on September 3
It will be the fourth round of the Rugby Championship, with the Wallabies splitting the series against Argentina before rebounding in Argentina.
Dave Rennie's men will then face the All Blacks in Melbourne and Auckland to round out the tournament.
The Wallabies' clash with the Springboks will be shown LIVE on Stan Sport and the Nine Network.
Coverage will be live and ad-free on Stan Sport, slated to start at 7:00 pm AEST with kickoff expected at 7:30 pm AEST.
The game will also be shown on free-to-air television on 9GEM (Sydney and Brisbane), Channel 9 (Melbourne and Adelaide) and 9Go (Perth), with coverage also beginning at 7:00 pm AEST
New Zealand's crucial match against Argentina will be shown on Stan Sport.
The second test will be ad-free, live and on demand, with extended coverage on Stan Sport from 4:00 pm.

The first Test between the Wallabies and Springboks will kick off at 7:35 pm AEST at Allianz Stadium on Saturday September 3
Coverage will be ad-free from 7:00 pm AEST and continue throughout the game on Stan Sport.
The Wallabies' clash with the Springboks at Allianz Stadium has been officially announced as a sellout.
It is the second Test in Sydney that has sold out following the final Test of the England series.
