Allan Alaalatoa is an incredibly strong scrummager, in the position of tighthead prop and club captain for the Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies. Hailing from Campsie, New South Wales, he followed in his father’s footsteps into professional rugby, who represented Manu Samoa at the 1991 Rugby World Cup. Alaalatoa gained vast rugby experience through his schooling career at Newington College and representative honours for the Australian U20s, he made his debut for the Brumbies in 2014. In 2016, Alaalatoa earned his first cap for the Wallabies off the bench against New Zealand and hasn't looked back, notching up 80 caps for his country. Alaalatoa captained the Brumbies to their 2020 Super Rugby AU Premiership, in what was their first title since 2004. Last season, he took the mantle as the club’s longest-serving skipper with 52 caps as leader, moving past Ben Mowen’s previous record of 51.
