Experienced lock Cadeyrn Neville grew up in Dee Why in New South Wales, attending Manly Selective Campus. As a schoolboy, Neville left his home in Manly to join the AIS rowing program, competing in the Youth Olympics for Australia.He didn’t try his hand in Union until 2009, playing his first game for the Manly Marlins Rugby Union Football Club. His rise was then meteoric in rugby terms. After being awarded Shute Shield’s “biggest improver” honour for the 2011 season, the Melbourne Rebels picked him up after their first ever Super Rugby campaign that same year. Debuting for the club in 2012, Neville went onto travel north to the Queensland Reds for the 2016 season. After spending three seasons in Japan playing for the Toyota Industries Shuttles alongside Christian Lealifano, he came back to Australia to sign with the Brumbies. He later earned his first cap for the Wallabies in 2022 against England.
