Carlo Tizzano is the ultimate competitor in the back row willing to scrap with anyone and for any ball.

Tizzano grew up with a chip on his shoulder as the WA boy looking to show he could match it with anyone after national school carnivals where his offer to swap jerseys with his NSW and QLD counterparts was scoffed at.

The winger-turned-flanker went instantly into the Fortescue Premier Grade and dominated straight out of school to be named player of the year.

He moved to NSW and had his eyes set on Michael Hooper's seven jersey, forming a dynamic 'bash brothers' combination with Lachlan Swinton after bashing each other repeatedly in training.

A move to English second-tier team Ealing Trailfinders helped deliver some perspective and brought the best out of him on his return to the Western Force in 2023.

He was named Members MVP in 2024 and earned a call-up after injuries to Liam Wright and Fraser McReight
