Faitala Moleka is an emerging young gun in Australian rugby who is quickly taking the game by storm.

One of eight siblings growing up in Penrith, Moleka played rugby union for Blacktown before moving to the ACT Brumbies to focus on the 15s game after also playing Sevens.

She made her Wallaroos debut as an 18-year-old in 2023, becoming one of the youngest in Australian history to do so. She was awarded the Wallaroos rookie of the year award following her maiden season in gold.

Moleka went to school in Emu Plains, then Seven Hills, and is a talented musician in her spare time. She became a mainstay in the starting side for the Wallaroos during the WXV 2 tournament, winning player of the match against Wales before guiding the side to silverware with dominant performances.

Moleka, who can play fullback or flyhalf, will be looking for a big year with the Brumbies and Wallaroos ahead of the 2025 Rugby World Cup.

Her sister, Manua, joined the ACT Brumbies squad this year.
